Two families, two villas: Villa Bina and Villa Cvita Domenica

By the Enjoy Istria team Published 2 min read

Villa Bina and its garden from above, in the village of Labinci

In short

Villa Bina (12 guests) and Villa Cvita Domenica (8 guests) are neighbours in the village of Labinci, 11 km from Poreč, a few minutes' walk apart. Booked together they sleep up to 20, and each group keeps its own house, kitchen and 40 m² pool, so you can share dinners and days out without living on top of each other.

Some holidays need more than one house. Three generations of one family. Two families who are close but like their own evenings. A group of twenty friends. For these, our two villas in Labinci work beautifully together.

Two houses, one village

Villa Bina and Villa Cvita Domenica stand a few minutes’ walk apart at the edge of Labinci, a small village in the hills about 11 km from Poreč. The countryside around is olive groves and vineyards, with the sea on the horizon.

Why two houses beat one big one

  • Everyone gets their own space. Families with small children keep their own routine, while others stay up late.
  • Two pools mean less queueing for the water, and one can be the quieter pool.
  • Two kitchens make cooking for twenty easier: one house does the starters, the other the main course.
  • Shared evenings are still easy. Pick one terrace for dinner, and the walk home is a few minutes.

Planning a holiday for up to twenty

  • Book early, especially for July and August, when both villas need to be free on the same Saturday-to-Saturday weeks. See why summer stays run Saturday to Saturday.
  • Cars: twenty people usually means five or six cars, and each villa has its own parking.
  • Eating out: book tables for twenty well ahead. A restaurant less than a kilometre away in Labinci makes one easy evening out. Read what a konoba is.
  • Shopping: one big shop on arrival day, split between the two kitchens. See the self-catering guide.
  • House rules: parties and events are not allowed, but family celebrations around the table are what these houses are for.
