Who is responsible

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give it, your travel dates, the number of guests and your message. We use this only to answer your enquiry and, if you book, to prepare and manage your stay. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes the data for us

The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also checks submissions for spam. Enquiry emails are delivered by an email service provider. Both act on our instructions and only process data to provide these services.

The maps on this website are loaded from OpenFreeMap, with map data from OpenStreetMap. To draw the map, your browser connects to their servers, which receive your IP address. The map only loads when you scroll to it.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The dates and number of guests you choose are kept in your browser’s session storage while the tab is open, so they carry over from page to page. They stay on your device and reach us only if you send an enquiry.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months. Booking records are kept as long as Croatian accounting and tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use, by writing to reservations@enjoyistria.com. You can also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr).
